STOCK DIARIES - Does the Sigma Foveon Sensor work for Stock Photography?
'The Foveon sensor with it's high-resolution ultra-sharp images would seem to be a likely candidate for shooting low ISO stock landscape / location / nature / travel material. And while that is certainly true, there are a few issues that make it less than ideal to use.'

Fuji Announcements

Fuji Announcements
'The Fuji faithful are suitably impressed and Fuji will probably hold on to their 3% market share. But this is a very competitive area and most of the X-Pro 2's competitors now have 4K video, which the X-Pro 2 doesn't. I'm sure that when a proper grip is added it will handle well but this, together with the somewhat pointless X-70 and the even more pointless X-E2 'upgrade' are hardly going to set the photographic internet alight.'

'Up to yesterday I was sure that for the foreseeable future I was going to be earning a living solely as a stock photographer and that I would be moving slowly but surely towards a more 'mobile workflow' probably based on high-end smartphones, with a little red dot gear thrown in to keep the Leica fanboy in me happy! However, that's all changing.

Why do very few people seem to like (or want to buy) the Leica T (Typ 701)
'Despite me making it one of my cameras of the year for 2014 and pretty much raving about it ever since I bought it 15 months ago. it seems very few share my enthusiasm for the Leica T (Typ 701) '

Leica Q (Typ 116) compared to Sigma DP2 Quattro - Am I really bidding on a Leica M8?

Leica Q (Typ 116) compared to Sigma DP2 Quattro - Am I really bidding on a Leica M8?
'Add in the fact that the Leica is MUCH better at high(er) ISO's and a faster camera as well and it's clear to me which is the most useful camera. However, the fact that the Leica costs 4x as much hasn't escaped me.'
