Sometimes it's like this. On a day of fleeting light I got just 10 pictures. What you see above is the result of an afternoons work. Very grief glimpses of sun between periods of rain and dull overcast conditions. The reason I go out in such unpromising conditions is it's my favourite photographic season. Every year I look forward to Spring, March-May. Warmer (slightly!) days, flowers starting to appear and clear dazzling (when it appears) sunlight.
And doing what I do, I have to accept that sometimes I just won't get much, that the weather will change and / or not do what it's expected to do. I could have shot in the dull light, but I was in familiar territory and I don't really need copies of what I have already in poor light.
It did give me an opportunity to use the Leica APO-Vario-Elmar-T 55-135mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH though, if only briefly and that was a pleasure in itself.
