One of the things that people forget about the Leica T (Typ 701) system is that it is very light. Recently I went out with the camera and all four lenses. 11-23mm, 18-56mm and 55-135mm zooms plus the 23mm prime. The size / quality equation is pretty much unprecedented for an APS-C sensor. It's a real shame that the two new lenses for the system, the 35mm f/1.4 and 60mm f2.8 macro are going to take so long to appear.
In the case of the macro another 12 months. http://uk.leica-camera.com/Photography/Leica-T/Lenses-for-Leica-T. After the announcement of the SL, Leica have been re-promoting the T and the camera is being discounted. I just wonder what interest there will be in the new lenses by the time these lenses appear. Of course there is always the possibility that another camera going to be released to coincide with their arrival.
