Yesterday I went out with my Fuji X-A1 + XF 35mm f/1.4 Lens specifically to shoot some panoramas in a Cotswold village. I have just bought the Autostitch Pano App for my iPad and was interested to see how it performed. (It cost £1.49!!)
As you can see above it's pretty good. It's also quick and I can open up the files in Snapseed editing software to add some subtle HDR and upload the files from the iPad to my picture libraries. And in fact since yesterday I've got quite a lot online. I'll be writing about iPad workflow in a future post, but this one is primarily about the X-A1.
Since starting to use it, I have been very impressed by the results and in particular with the 35mm f/1.4. Because I can now use Photoshop ACR for my raw files and the jpgs. for my iPad work, my workflow has speeded up considerably.
