Minimalism? Art? or Stock Photography?

Minimalism? Art? or Stock Photography? Sometimes I see a 'fine art' picture and my first reaction is 'Looks like a picture library photograph' and sometimes the distinction can get somewhat difficult to define. The fine art photographer would argue it's all about intention. But who is to say whether the above picture is a lawn and a hedge or that I'm exploring the existential implications of the man altered environment in a post modernist satirical way that mocks the picturesque zeitgeist with reference to the Munich school of fundementalist photo fiction restructuring circa 1953? Or that my work isn't a subtle reinterpretation of the formalised empirical ontological stance employed by the New Topographics while gently satirising the work of Andrea Gursky and critiquing the whole gallery and auction valuation ethos reminiscent of the wafenshassen movement so influential in the Hamburg school of concrete and liquid landscapes made popular by Hans Edelstein and his seminal work 'Duck on a lake' 2004.

You decide.
