More rip off Britain. Almost the same as the dollar price. Absolutely disgraceful. Nearly £3000 for a camera that could be regarded as a joke in future years or Nikon's 'folly'. If you want virtually the same high ISO performance as the D4 sensor, a Fuji X-E2 will cost you about 1/3 of the price. Looks better too. Incidentally with a current cashback a Nikon D800 would cost you £1000 less than this. At only 240g heavier.

The only result of this camera release as far as I can see is that sales of the Sony A7 and A7r should boom. Everybody mocks the Hassleblad Lunar as a rich tossers status symbol, but honestly, is this any better? An exercise in selling your heritage and reputation down the river and I see no good coming of it. Everybody seems only too ready to write Nikon and the DSLR's obituary and I've always thought that premature, now I'm not so sure.

Just a final word to Nikon, where is the dial that selects the colour space. You have one for everything else!!
