This isn't going to work!!

That didn't take long did it!!

I've been chatting away on Google+ about my post this morning and have more or less realised that this isn't going to work. I've changed my mind several times during the day and realised that it isn't possible to nail myself down to one or two cameras. I'll probably come to a decision and then regret it the next day. I've re-bought so many cameras and lenses I've sold that I just know its going to happen again.

The whole point of this exercise was to make a change in what I photograph, how I photograph and what I photograph with. Well, one and two have started to change and, in reality, I do the third part already as I chop and change cameras all the time!

In replying to Henry's point - https://plus.google.com/b/111408024451777741269/111408024451777741269/posts/9pLeS8AZxth - I realised that of course its the pictures that count anyway. Should be obvious, but I do forget that sometimes and it takes something like this to remind me.

I do get these feelings of guilt from time to time about unused cameras and lenses sitting on my shelf and it often spurs me on to have a clearout, which I am in the process of doing. So, this has been useful in that way. So instead of answering the question I posed this morning - I've changed it. "How can I use the camera gear I own or will buy in the future to produce better photographs?" is the new question. And probably a much better question than one obsessing about gear.

To celebrate this "Road to Damascus" moment I've ordered the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 which is arriving tomorrow. Some things never change!!!
