Now this isn't small, or light. In fact this is very much DSLR territory.

There also seems to be an adapter issue, in that turning the cameras image stabilisation on actually adds camera shake to the image. Either with the lens's OIS on or off. I'm thinking that this is probably a problem with the adapter. However I'll try and track down the reason for this. However I've managed to survive without IS and indeed have just bought a camera and lenses with no in body or lens stabilsation at all. I might just manage.

The images this combination produces are very nice and very sharp, the same as the Panasonic GX1. 

As you can imagine the next few days will be taken up with the Nikon D800, so I'll return to this camera / lens combination at a later date.
