Cirrus in the Cotswolds

A couple of days ago when I was in the Cotswolds with my Panasonic GX1 and Leica D Vario-Elmar 14-150mm, this amazing sky developed. From experience I knew that these don't tend to last long, so I took a lot of shots. The dynamic range was very difficult and the two shots of the tower were shot against the light with the sun only just out the picture.

This is one of the out of camera jpgs. from the image above.


The final pictures were also constructed as multi-image stitches. I'm not sure that any other software than Photoshop CS6 could have produced such a successful result.
