FUJI X-PRO 1 - high-res and interpolated samples

These are some samples shot with the X-PRO 1 and 35mm f/1.4 lens yesterday. These are from raw files, developed in Silkypix using Super Neutral, saved as tiffs and then imported into Adobe Camera Raw 7 in Photoshop CS6. You can see the full-size high-res images by clicking on the file > flickr > Actions > View all sizes > Original.

I've used my own settings in ACR for these, which has involved some sharpening. Its in line with how I used to sharpen files to send them out for A3 reproduction in magazines when I ran my own picture library.

This final shot has gone through the same procedure as above, but just to see what it was like I upsized it to just over 100MB, which means this is about the same as the file size for cameras like the Nikon D800 and not far short of the Pentax 645D, both cameras with larger sensors.

I'll make no comments but let you make up your own mind as to how good they are.

If you download the upsized sample, re-size it down to 16MB and 12MB and have a look at it at those sizes as well.
