I'm impressed by these. It shows just how far APS-C sensors have come in terms of high ISO's and low noise.

MORE IMPRESSIONS.

The more I use this camera the more I like it. In fact I like it much more than I thought I would.

It gives me images very similar to the Pentax K-5. But its lighter and cheaper than the Pentax and seems to me it has faster AF. Also the buffer seems bigger. Shooting jpgs, its possible to do some fast shooting with the motordrive. No weather sealing, but it feels well made, unlike some cheap Nikons in the past.

The screen is excellent. Very sharp, very clear.

You get a lot of camera for your money. There's a lot of functionality in there.

The images are capable of being interpolated quite a lot. I've turned many into 25MP 71MB files and they hold up really well.

I really, really love the video output. Really gorgeous quality and colour.
