Yesterday was one of those days with fog in the morning gradually burning off with the sun shining through the mist. I headed for a local lake where the still conditions made possible a very atmospheric set of pictures. It was very cold but well worth it. I knew the conditions wouldn't last and soon after I finished the mist burnt off completely.
You know winter is coming when you get days like this. While not my favourite season by any means, the compensation is the sun low in the sky and great light, when you get any!
